CHATEAU OLIVIER
At the heart of a vast area of ??forest, meadows and vineyards, Château Olivier emerges from its woods as in a clearing. Its beautiful architecture, its water and the quality of the annex buildings, make it an exceptional site in the countryside, just eleven kilometers from Bordeaux. Olivier is a very old seigneury, which is found in the early Middle Ages. The Black Prince, it is said, loved to hunt there, so much the surrounding forests were rich in game. The domain belongs since the 19th century to an old family from Bordeaux, the family of Bethmann. The Château Olivier wine was classified in 1953, both in red and white.
